ROTARY CALVIA INTER SCHOOLS DEBATES COMPETITION 2022

This is the 7th season of the Debates which starts in October 2022

10 Schools in Mallorca will participate in the Competition this year

We reach approximately 6000 to 7000 students, parents and others.

It’s a great medium to spark discussion or debate with other schools, the debates are generally short and usually contain a message or statement that can be discussed or debated. Debates are a mirror of social landscapes, political climates, and social justice movements of their time, which lends nicely to the deconstruction of these messages, but also requires discussion of context – What was the world like at that time?   We make Motions for the debates and possible discussion points to explore with the students.

This can be only realized by the wonderful team of volunteers from Rotary members and others, whose organization of the competition is invaluable.

The final of this special event will be held in December in Palma Pictures studios
